Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift, Monday–Friday contract position in a therapy services setting in Hoopeston, IL.
Details
- Outpatient therapy services setting
- Day shift, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (hours variable)
- 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
- Holiday coverage is required
- Epic EMR — experience required
Requirements
- Active OT license (IL) required — temp license accepted if applicable
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant occupational therapy experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Evaluate and treat patients of all ages across a range of diagnoses
- Design and adjust individualized plans of care integrating goals, treatments, outcomes, and discharge planning
- Perform patient examinations and screenings using evidence-based methods
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and other healthcare providers using appropriate teaching methods
- Document evaluations, care plans, and patient responses to treatment per department policy
- Supervise and monitor support personnel in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Serves as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students
- Candidates who have been on assignment with this health system for more than 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning to any facility within the system
- RTO is not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
