Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Float Pool Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring cardiac experience, with night shifts on a 13-week contract in Massachusetts.

Details

• Float pool position based out of a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, with potential to work across multiple units within a single shift based on census needs
• Patient population includes medical, surgical, and observation patients across M/S Tele and Tele units
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• EMR: Cerner (experience preferred)
• Float pool includes RNs, PCAs, and OAs, with placement determined by unit needs during bed meetings
• The unit utilizes an Avasure video monitoring system capable of watching up to 12 patients simultaneously; staff may be asked to cover the Avasure station for breaks and meals

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• Minimum 2–3 years of RN experience required
• Experience with Epic or Cerner preferred
