Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Florida, requiring conscious sedation and telemetry skills with on-call availability.

Details

  • Cath Lab unit within a 615-bed short-term acute care hospital
  • Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma facility
  • Patient ratio of 1:4 on day shift
  • Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • On-call required approximately 10–12 days per month, including every other weekend
  • Conscious sedation and telemetry skills are utilized in this role
  • Cerner EMR used; experience preferred
  • No floating outside of scope required
  • Block scheduling is not available
  • Local candidates are not eligible for this position

Requirements

  • Active FL RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses accepted)
  • Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Conscious sedation experience required
  • Telemetry skills required
  • Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response requirements
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
  • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers may be considered if they bring strong, directly relevant Cath Lab experience
  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • State Board of Nursing license verification and NURSYS verification required
