Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down (ICC) position at a Level III Trauma, Magnet-eligible acute care hospital in Indiana, requiring telemetry and IV start skills with every other weekend availability.
Details
- Step-Down (ICC) unit within a 244-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Level III Trauma facility
- Patient ratio of 1:4-5
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- One holiday required per 13-week assignment
- No on-call requirement; additional shifts may be picked up voluntarily
- May be required to float to sister Step-Down units (Level 2 or Level 3)
- Charting performed in Cerner
- No cost for parking
Requirements
- Active Indiana or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted if active by start date
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- IV start proficiency required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Royal blue scrubs required
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
