Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3+ years of critical care experience for a night shift travel assignment at a hospital in Naples, FL.
Details
- Inpatient respiratory therapy department at an acute care hospital in Naples, FL
- Night shift: 7p–7a
- Alternating weekends required
- Floating between campuses may be required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- RRT credential required; CRT will also be considered
- Minimum 3 years of critical care experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- License required if applicable
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, delivery of medicated aerosols, pulmonary function studies, blood gas analysis, and cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
- Assists physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including arterial line insertion and intubations
- Provides diagnostic and therapeutic cardiopulmonary services to both inpatient and outpatient populations following approved protocols
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked at any facility within this health system as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
