Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab Unit night shift position requiring at least 1 year of recent rehab experience and the ability to serve in a Charge Nurse role.

• Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Weekend rotation required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MS or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent Inpatient Rehab RN experience required
• 2+ years of Med/Surg experience is a plus for candidates without Rehab-specific experience
• Ability to function in a Charge Nurse role as needed
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• US Social Security Number required

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
