Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring at least one prior completed travel contract and Infusaport Access experience, with floating across multiple campuses.

Details

• Position is based in a hospital medical center setting on a Med/Surg Oncology unit
• Traveler is required to float across multiple campuses
• Epic EMR is used; prior experience highly preferred
• Must be available to work 1–2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day

Requirements

• Active IA single-state or compact/multistate RN license required
• Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• Minimum 12 months of Oncology experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Med/Surg experience highly preferred due to floating requirements
• Infusaport Access experience required
• Some recent chemotherapy administration experience preferred
• ONS/ONCC or chemo certification is a nice-to-have
• Must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 12 months; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years preferred for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates who were employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
• RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving holiday week and 1 day during the Christmas/New Year's holiday period
• Travelers are expected to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
