Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a 325-bed acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and proficiency in Epic EMR.
Details
- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30), 13-week contract
- Labor & Delivery unit within a short-term acute care hospital with 325 staffed beds
- Patient population includes L&D, postpartum, and C-section cases
- Floating required between like units and across facilities within the state
- Every other weekend required
- On-call is not required but is requested
- Block scheduling is not available
- Charting via Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active WA or Compact RN license required; pending license accepted for quick-start candidates
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
- Experience in postpartum and C-section care required
- Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and ACLS
- AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty are required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must also reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
- Travelers who refuse to float risk termination of their assignment
