Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week outpatient assignment in Arizona.
Details
- Outpatient Speech Pathology setting
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, 9-hour shifts
- 13-week contract
- Cerner EMR used in this position
- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted SLP license for the state of Arizona; pending licenses will not be accepted (license required if applicable)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required; pending certifications will not be accepted
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed SLP
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Candidates must permanently reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; driver's license is used to verify permanent address
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered

Cons
Cost of living is High, roughly $2000-2500 for your own private space. Float between East and West Campus, 25 minutes apart, west will likely be where you spend 75% of your shifts so pick your housing accordingly.
