Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 44-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility in Greenwood, IN, specializing in complex neurological and orthopedic recovery.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting with 44 beds
- Occupational Therapy department serving an adult patient population
- Common diagnoses include brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, cardiac conditions, and orthopedic injury
- Daily caseload of approximately 6–7 patients
- Day shift, Monday–Friday with 1–2 weekend days per month
- Hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Floating may be required to sister rehabilitation hospital locations as needed
- No on-call requirements
- EHR system: UDS
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited OT program
- Active OT license in Indiana required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- Previous IRF experience highly preferred; candidates with only outpatient, school, or acute care experience are not a strong fit
- Adult IRF experience preferred
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible

- Facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program
- Emphasis on teamwork, fast-paced environment, and collaborative discharge planning to transition patients home
- Scrubs of any color except navy blue are required
- Candidates who have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- First-time travelers will be considered provided all other qualifications are met
