Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 1 year of CVICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency, working night shifts every other weekend.
Details
- CVICU setting within a hospital environment
- Cardiovascular ICU patient population with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Floating to other units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs; float assignments will only be to units where competency has been demonstrated
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license (SC or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration

- Green scrubs required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the Prisma Health Richland campus to be eligible for this position; candidates residing under 50 miles are ineligible
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from every Prisma Health flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville) to qualify under the Adult ICU mileage exception
