Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of experience with night shifts and every other weekend availability.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- 36-hour work schedule per week
- Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating to other units required
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license required
- AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
- Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
- Contract nurses are expected to actively support nursing students and contribute to clinical education alongside regular patient care duties
- Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
