Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a valid NH or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience, with specialized skills in EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS procedures.

Details

• Hospital-based endoscopy unit with an average daily census of 25 patients and 3 procedure rooms
• Specialized procedures performed include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and EUS
• Schedule is 4x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), 32 hours per week
• On-call required no more than every 4th weekend and one weeknight per week
• No floating or weekend requirements
• Epic used for documentation; Omnicell used for medication management
• Epic experience is required

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — AHA or Red Cross certifications only accepted
• Minimum 2 years of GI/endoscopy RN experience required
• Telemetry and circulating skills required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration (candidate may begin with a second reference pending)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Orientation is approximately 40 hours
• Candidates located within 50 miles of the facility are accepted but at a reduced local pay rate
• Travelers who have previously been employed at any facility within the SolutionHealth system are not eligible for this position, regardless of length of separation or time worked
