Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with ARRT certification and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment in Illinois.

Details

• Work in a hospital-based cardiac cath lab with 2 procedure rooms
• Average caseload of 5 cases per day
• Cases include left/right heart cath, pacemaker/ICD implantation, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI interventions
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Typically 1 weekend shift per month required
• On-call required approximately 12 days per month with a 30-minute response time
• Epic EMR experience required
• No floating outside of assigned unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience required
• Basic interventional radiology experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certification required
• Valid Illinois state license required (pending license accepted)
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform left/right heart catheterization, pacemaker and ICD implantation, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI interventions
• First-time travelers will be considered, though travel experience is preferred
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
• Block scheduling requests are subject to manager discretion
• Limited to 1 RTO request per contract
