Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract in Sacramento, CA.

Details

  • Mammography department within an acute care medical center setting
  • Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Requirements

  • ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • CA state license required if applicable
  • Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required
  • 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
  • Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Competently performs routine and specialized breast imaging procedures to produce quality diagnostic images for physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Responsible for patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • May be responsible for orienting other staff to the department
  • Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
  • Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the assignment
