Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a 12-week acute care hospital assignment in Temecula, CA, with acute care experience preferred.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in Temecula, CA
- Occupational Therapy unit
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Current CA OT license required (license required if applicable)
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an OT in an acute care facility preferred
- Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Two professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician
- Designs and implements individualized treatment programs for patients with varying degrees and types of disabilities and multiple medical problems
- Develops and instructs patients and families in customized home programs to support continued recovery
- Reports to the Manager of Rehabilitation
