Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) certification for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, VA.
Details
- Located in the Radiology department of a 466-bed acute care hospital in Richmond, VA
- Performs all X-ray procedures and imaging studies
- Uses GE imaging equipment
- Documents in Meditech EMR
- 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, Thursday through Saturday
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Active Virginia (VA) state license required if applicable
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates will be considered
- Steel gray scrubs required
- Position is open to travel candidates only

Unit is semi friendly you get floated a lot in your first month of contact you all all the supplies you need. Over time is always available
Cons
Resources for your unit some are helpful others are not. If you have to use a timesheet for your pay the CNC doesn’t like that hopefully agency can upgrade that.
