Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a short-term acute care hospital in New Mexico, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 61 total staffed beds
- Operating Room unit with 1:1 patient ratio
- Case types include orthopedic, general, gynecological, and podiatric surgeries
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- On-call required: approximately 1–2 weekdays per week and 1–2 weekends per month, divided equally among circulators
- No weekend shift requirements outside of on-call rotation
- Epic EMR experience required
- Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state
Requirements
- Active NM or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
- Proficiency with orthopedic, general, gynecological, and podiatric surgical cases
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Navy scrubs required for all RNs
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- Former permanent staff at a Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates
