Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with strong proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography and stress echo procedures on Philips Epiq equipment.
Details
- Primarily outpatient setting focused on transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs)
- Expected caseload of 7–10 echocardiograms per 10-hour shift
- Procedures include transthoracic echocardiograms, treadmill stress echo, and Dobutamine stress echo
- Uses Philips Epiq ultrasound equipment
- 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Requirements
- Proficiency with Philips Epiq machines required
- Strong skills in treadmill and Dobutamine stress echo required, including prepping stress studies, taking blood pressures, and operating the stress cart
- Ability to independently scan up to 10 patients in a 10-hour shift
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Primary responsibilities include performing outpatient TTEs and stress echocardiograms independently
- Candidates must be self-sufficient in stress echo workflows, including patient prep and stress cart operation
