Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience, including pediatrics and OB, for a variable day/night shift position at a hospital in Lander, WY.

Details

• 13-week travel contract at a hospital in Lander, WY
• Respiratory Therapy department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Patient population includes pediatric, OB, and general adult patients
• Variable shift schedule consisting of two day shifts and one night shift per week

Requirements

• Active NBRC RRT certification required
• Active Wyoming RT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RT experience required
• Experience with pediatric and OB patients required
• Current AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• All certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, delivery of medicated aerosols, arterial line insertion, intubation, and assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
• Additional duties include pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
• Follows protocols approved by medical staff and department policy and procedures
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• RQI and RCIS certifications for BLS and ACLS are not accepted — AHA certifications required
