Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience, including pediatrics and OB, for a variable day/night shift position at a hospital in Lander, WY.
Details
- 13-week travel contract at a hospital in Lander, WY
- Respiratory Therapy department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Patient population includes pediatric, OB, and general adult patients
- Variable shift schedule consisting of two day shifts and one night shift per week
Requirements
- Active NBRC RRT certification required
- Active Wyoming RT license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of recent RT experience required
- Experience with pediatric and OB patients required
- Current AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- All certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, delivery of medicated aerosols, arterial line insertion, intubation, and assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Additional duties include pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
- Follows protocols approved by medical staff and department policy and procedures
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
- RQI and RCIS certifications for BLS and ACLS are not accepted — AHA certifications required
