Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, OH, requiring at least 18 months of CVICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.
Details
- Position is in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of a large hospital setting
- 13-week contract with a rotating day/night schedule (3x12-hour shifts)
- Day shift hours: 7:00am–7:30pm; Night shift hours: 7:00pm–7:30am
- Shifts may rotate based on operational needs of the unit
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU required (travel experience will also be considered)
- Must be able to achieve acceptable scores on an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment administered during orientation
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are administered during orientation and must be passed to continue in the role
- Must be available to work at least every other holiday
- Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning a new assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
- Two professional references are required for consideration
