Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Oncology for a 13-week outpatient clinic position in Munster, IN, requiring 3+ years of oncology experience and an active IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Outpatient oncology clinic setting on the 6th floor with exam rooms serving 4 providers
- Oncology and hematology patient population
- Role includes rooming patients, taking vitals, and directly supporting 4 providers
- Day shift schedule: Monday & Wednesday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–1:30 PM
- 40-hour work week with no weekend requirements
- No on-call or holiday coverage required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
- Minimum 3 years of recent oncology RN experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number (SSN) required
Additional Information
- Support a team of 4 oncology/hematology providers in a busy outpatient clinic environment
- Strong communication skills are important for success in this role
- Navy blue scrubs required; scrubs only — no other attire permitted
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible to apply
