Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and availability for a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule on night shifts.
Details
- Work setting is a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) in a hospital environment
- Night shift position (19:00–07:30)
- Rotating schedule alternating between 3x12-hour shifts one week and 4x12-hour shifts the next (84 hours per two-week period)
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU or relevant RN experience required
- Driver's license with address matching permanent address required for consideration
- Two professional references required: at least one charge nurse or higher and one supervisor, both completed within the last year
- Middle name required; confirmation needed if candidate does not have one
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Schedule flexibility is required; candidates unwilling to accept the rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule will not be considered
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered, but must be disclosed upfront — no changes will be accepted after submission
- Must be willing to work at least one major or one minor holiday per contract
- Travelers who have worked within the ARH system for one year must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
- Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit
