Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position requiring float flexibility across multiple units and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

Resource Pool position requiring float coverage to all med-surg floors, including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele
Must be willing to float to the West Lakes Campus, located 9.5 miles from downtown
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Every other weekend required
Every other holiday required
24-hour notice for call-off (NBO) is waived
26-week contract assignment

Requirements

Active RN license (IA or Compact) required
BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
NIHSS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
Nursys license verification required, dated within 30 days of start
COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide direct patient care across multiple med-surg and telemetry units as part of a resource pool team
Local candidates accepted in Iowa at the standard local rate
Radius rule of 90 miles applies for MercyOne and Genesis locations in Iowa
First-time travelers may be considered
