Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg/Telemetry position on a night shift schedule at a hospital in Des Moines, IA, with every-other-weekend and floating requirements.

Details

5 South Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
Night shift: 19:00–07:30
13-week contract
Every other weekend (EOW) required
Must be willing to float between two hospital campuses (main and west Des Moines locations)
Holiday coverage required for: July 3rd & 4th, the day before and day of Thanksgiving, and the day before and day of New Year's Day

Requirements

Active Iowa RN license or Compact RN license required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Current NIHSS certification required
COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

No prior experience requirement specified for this position
Local candidates in Iowa are eligible to apply at a local pay rate
BLS certification must include front and back of card
License verification must be dated within 30 days of start date; NURSYS verification preferred for RNs
