Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position requiring float flexibility across multiple units and a valid IA or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Resource Pool position requiring float coverage across multiple units
• Float assignments may include Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele units
• May be required to float to a secondary campus located approximately 9.5 miles from the downtown facility
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• 26-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IA state or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• ACLS certification required for CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, and SICU assignments

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across a variety of med-surg specialty units as part of a hospital resource pool team
• Requires flexibility and adaptability to work in different clinical environments and patient populations
• Local candidates accepted in the following states: CA, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, MD, MA, MI, NC, NE, NY, OH, OR, and PA
