Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Dept travel position in Granbury, TX, requiring a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

Details

• 13-week contract in the Emergency Services department of a hospital setting
• 10-room, 19-bed/chair Emergency Department
• Patient population includes trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases
• Patient ratio of 3-4:1
• Night shift hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• EMR: MEDHOST
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS, plus either PALS or ENPC (AHA or ARC); no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Immunization titers must be in hand at time of consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
• RTO requests must be submitted in advance and are limited to less than one week
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered for this position
