Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with OR/C-Arm experience for a 13-week evening shift contract at a Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Bridgeport, CT.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center (also accepts Level I traumas)
• X-Ray department with float coverage to the Milford Campus as needed
• 5x8 evening shifts from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
• Every other weekend required (approximately 6 weekends over the 3-month contract), with the ability to pick up additional shifts
• Charting via Epic

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• OR experience required; C-Arm and O-Arm experience preferred
• Experience in a trauma hospital setting required
• License required if applicable
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

• Part of the Yale New Haven Health System
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Free parking available on site
• Flu vaccine is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccine exemptions considered for religious or medical reasons only
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility during the contract
