Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with OR experience and trauma hospital background for a night shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center in Bridgeport, CT.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds, operating as a Level II Trauma Center that also accepts Level I traumas
• X-Ray department with floating requirements to the Milford Campus as needed
• 5x8 night shifts from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Charting in Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required
• OR experience required; C-Arm and O-Arm experience preferred
• Trauma hospital experience required
• Must be willing to float to an additional campus as needed
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• License required if applicable
• Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions accepted
• 1 reference required for consideration

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility
• First-time travelers are encouraged to have relevant trauma and OR experience to be competitive for this position
