Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level III NICU position at an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, CA, requiring at least 1 year of NICU experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Level III NICU in a 212-bed acute care hospital with approximately 190 births per month
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00–06:30)
- Every other weekend required, with the possibility of additional weekends to meet unit needs
- No floating to other units within this assignment
- No on-call required
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and PALS
- Minimum of 2 years of total RN experience, with at least 1 year in NICU
- Epic EMR experience required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- All required certifications must be current and on file for consideration
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility needs
- Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be accommodated
- All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Former permanent employees of this Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate — contact your recruiter for details
- Candidates must disclose any previous work history at a Providence facility (location and dates) for consideration
