Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist with a minimum of 5 years of cath lab experience for a 16-week contract position at a community hospital with a weekday-only schedule and no call requirements.

Details

• Single-room cardiac cath lab within a community hospital setting
• Performs diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirements
• Variable hours based on procedural volume and department needs
• 16-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of recent cardiac catheterization laboratory experience
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or related program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• RCIS or ARRT certification required
• Strong proficiency with fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and electronic documentation systems
• Solid understanding of sterile technique, cardiovascular anatomy, and cardiac procedures
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include preparing procedure rooms, assisting physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and maintaining sterile technique
• Additional duties include monitoring patient status, documenting procedural information, assisting with patient transport and positioning, and participating in quality and safety initiatives
