Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position at an oncology-focused hospital in Ohio, requiring at least 2 years of PACU experience and no first-time travelers.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital PACU within a major oncology and research facility
• Patient population is predominantly oncology with acuity ranging from outpatient to ICU-level care
• Specialty surgical cases include flap reconstruction (ENT, breast, and other), thoracic, and neurosurgery
• Schedule is five 8-hour shifts per week, with shifts varying between 12:00–20:30 and 13:00–21:30
• No weekends, no on-call, and no holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
