Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehab position in Rio Rancho, NM, requiring at least 1.5 years of inpatient rehab experience and every other weekend availability.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting — not a skilled nursing facility or LTAC
• Single dedicated rehab unit with an all-acute inpatient rehab patient population
• Typical patient length of stay is approximately 14 days
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Every other weekend required
• Charge nurse coverage may be required on an as-needed basis
• No on-call requirements
• Charting performed in Cerner
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or Compact RN license — proof of license required for consideration
• Minimum 1.5 years of inpatient hospital rehab experience
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• ACLS certification preferred; required if serving in a charge nurse role
• Ability to assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs with closed-toe shoes required
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — RTO will not be approved after an offer is extended
• Cannot take every holiday off
• Call-outs must be provided with more than 24 hours notice
