Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at an acute care facility in New York, requiring CAH experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care, Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Emergency Department
• ED consists of 15 standard beds and 10 acute beds
• RNs cover all patient types due to lower volume ED environment
• Night shift: 7p-7a, 3x12s
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Minimum 1 year of med/surg experience required
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience is required
• BSN preferred but not required
• Must be able to multitask effectively and practice independently with minimal ramp-up time
• COVID vaccination preferred; exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• RNs must be prepared to manage a broad patient mix across a lower-volume ED setting
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration
• 13-week contract
