Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in Florida, requiring at least 1 year of endoscopy experience and a variable call schedule.

Details

• Hospital-based endoscopy unit with a 204-bed facility capacity
• Unit staffed by RNs and Endo Techs, with a day shift team of 3 RNs and 2–3 Endo Techs
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Procedures performed include colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscopy, robotic bronchoscopy, cardioversion, and TEE
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Variable call schedule required
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday rotation shared with hospital employees
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Minimum 1 year of recent endoscopy RN experience required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Experience with complex procedures such as robotics is preferred
• Ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment and able to multitask effectively
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
