Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Georgetown, KY, requiring 2+ years of experience and CNMT certification.

Details

• Works in the Nuclear Medicine department of a 75-bed acute care hospital serving Scott and Franklin Counties in central Kentucky
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Full spectrum of nuclear medicine cases with a heavy emphasis on cardiac imaging
• Uses GE Infinia II equipment
• EMR: MedHost with NovaRad PACS system
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• No weekend or call requirements
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• CNMT certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Associate's Degree required
• Proficiency in IV placement required
• Strong cardiac imaging experience required
• Experience with Cardiac QGS/QPS preferred
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Orientation is held on Mondays
• Black scrubs required; Crocs/clog-style shoes are not permitted
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
