Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Oncology unit in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of oncology experience and an active MT or compact RN license.
Details
- Located at a regional hospital in Billings, MT
- Medical Oncology unit
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts (3 days per week, 36 hours per week)
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Oncology RN experience required
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required (must not expire prior to start)
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for unit required (AHA-issued, must not expire prior to start)
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for oncology patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing health status evaluation
- Executes delegated medical functions, patient referrals, and monitors treatment plans
- Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Candidates who have worked permanently at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
