Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of med/surg ortho experience and an active MT or compact RN license.
Details
- Med/Surg Orthopedics unit within a regional hospital setting
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active RN license in Montana (MT) or a valid Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Orthopedics RN experience required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN minimum); BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for orthopedic patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and ongoing health data collection and assessment
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed for further evaluation
- BSN and specialty certification are preferred but not required
- Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- AHA certifications must not expire prior to the assignment start date
