Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Billings, MT, requiring a Montana or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Details

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
  • Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
  • On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
  • Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

  • Active MT or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
  • Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and/or PALS (as applicable) — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to assignment start
  • ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required

Additional Information

  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards
  • Performs health teaching, counseling, and patient referrals as needed
  • Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
  • BSN and specialty certification are preferred
