Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Billings, MT, requiring 1 year of PACU experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Details

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a regional hospital setting
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week, 4 days per week
• On-call may be required during regularly scheduled shifts
• Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to start date
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care including health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment
• Executes delegated medical functions including patient referrals and ongoing monitoring of treatment plans
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• BSN is preferred but not required
