Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ED Observation Unit position requiring ACLS, NIHSS, and at least 1 year of relevant RN experience, working 12-hour night shifts.

Details

• ED Observation Unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 1900–0730
• 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR (experience required)
• Floating to other units required based on census
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses)
• Minimum 1 year of ED Observation or relevant RN experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS — all must be AHA-issued and valid through the start of the assignment
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care; health teaching and counseling; executing delegated medical functions; and documenting per hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
