Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU travel position in California, requiring active CA licensure, at least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience, and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Neuro ICU setting within a hospital environment
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- May float to the ED, Step Down Unit, or Central Monitoring Department
- Epic EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience required, which must be reflected on your application
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 supervisory references obtained within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for this assignment
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
