Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist in California with a minimum of 2 years of experience, CA licensure, and proficiency supporting cardiologists and radiologists in an IR lab setting.
Details
- Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology lab supporting cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses
- 4x10 hour day shifts with a variable start time between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM
- Every 3rd weekend required
- On-call as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Valid California Fluoroscopy Permit required
- CA license required if applicable
- Ability to work with variable schedules including weekends and on-call shifts
Additional Information
- Provides technical support for procedures performed in the IR lab, including execution and technical analysis under cardiologist supervision
- Responsible for competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
- May be responsible for mentoring and training students
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Former employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only one holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
- Two supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
