Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU (PICU) travel assignment in Billings, MT, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PICU experience and an active MT or compact RN license.
Details
- Pediatric ICU (PICU) setting within a regional hospital
- Variable 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Pediatric patient population requiring intensive care
- Charting performed in Epic EMR
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
Requirements
- Active RN license in Montana (MT) or a Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
- Required certifications (must be AHA-issued and valid through assignment start): BLS, PALS, and ENPC
- TNCC and ACLS preferred
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited program required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to work variable shifts including nights and weekends
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, health teaching, counseling, and execution of delegated medical functions
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients as needed for further evaluation
- Consults, delegates to, and supervises other care team members as appropriate
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; 1 year of general pediatric experience also preferred
- Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
