Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level II NICU position in Walnut Creek, CA, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience including comfort with Level III neonates.
Details
- 13-week assignment in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Level II NICU setting with exposure to Level III neonates required
- 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Hospital-based setting in Walnut Creek, CA
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) experience preferred
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required
- Comfort and experience caring for Level III neonates required
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Two clinical references from the last two places of employment required for consideration, covering the last year of employment from a leadership role (Nurse Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse)
- 7-year employment history required, with explanations provided for any gaps exceeding 30 days
- Current skills checklist (valid within the last year) required for consideration
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates on a temporary or provisional license must disclose this status
- Local candidates are accepted; a 50-mile radius applies for the travel pay rate
- Orientation dates available in mid-June or mid-July
