Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at an acute care hospital in Torrance, CA, with Epic EMR experience required and on-call responsibilities included.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a 356-bed acute care hospital in Torrance, CA
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• 1 Saturday shift required per 6-week rotation
• 1 on-call shift required per 6-week rotation
• Float to a sister facility (San Pedro location) may be required
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Free parking available
• Scrubs: any color accepted
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (pending license not accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Active professional license required at time of consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; minimal RTO is preferred
• Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager's discretion
• Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
