Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a 12-week ambulatory cardiovascular office assignment, with day shifts Monday–Friday and no weekends or call required.

Details

• Ambulatory cardiovascular office setting, open 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Vascular ultrasound unit with one hour allotted per study
• 5x8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Floating within facility per scope of practice as needed
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience required
• Active professional licensure required if applicable
• Copies of relevant certifications required for consideration
• Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted
• RTO is capped at a maximum of 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• Holiday coverage policy: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travelers must have been away from all facilities in this health system for a minimum of one full year before returning as a traveler
• No schedule change requests or alternate shifts are permitted; the posted shift and schedule are firm
