Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care, Level I Trauma hospital setting, requiring CNMT certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with a Level I Trauma designation
- Nuclear Medicine department
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
- Equipment on-site includes Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs
- Epic EMR used in this position
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Active CNMT certification via NMTCB required; pending certifications will not be accepted
- Active BLS certification required
- DOT certification preferred at start; required if contract is extended (within 90 days)
- State license required if applicable; must be active — pending licenses will not be accepted
- A valid driver's license is required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Additional Information
- Radiation badge provided by the facility
- Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to remove them may result in contract termination
- Candidates who are currently or have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
- 12-hour orientation included with the assignment
- Training on facility-specific equipment is available for candidates without prior experience on Siemens systems
