Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 30-bed Stroke/Urology unit, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Work setting is a 30-bed Stroke and Urology unit (4 South Surgical Nursing) in a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule: 18:45–07:15
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Valid Driver's License required for consideration
- US Social Security Number required; must provide a US home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing discharge planning needs
- Navy or maroon scrubs required
