Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Texas, requiring a minimum of 3 years of critical care experience and the ability to manage complex medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients.

Details

• Works in a conglomerate ICU encompassing medical, surgical, and cardiovascular critical care
• Patient population includes TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress/failure, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, STEMI, CHF, pneumonia, and hypoxic patients
• Performs and manages advanced interventions including vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Day shift: 06:45–19:15
• 13-week contract
• Floating required within the critical care service line, including ICU and step-down units

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (both must be AHA-issued)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with medical, surgical, and cardiovascular critical care patients required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

• Provides direct critical care nursing to a diverse and complex ICU patient population
